Prophets of Rage have released the studio version of their self-titled single just in time for their appearance in Cleveland tonight at The Agora Ballroom. The renegades have promised to cause a ruckus in Cleveland this week with the possibility of pop-up shows in spite of the Republican National Convention which is also taking place in Cleveland from the 18th to the 21st.

The track takes a swing at the preceding Public Enemy version and receives production from Brendan O’Brien who took on Rage Against The Machine’s Evil Empire and The Battle Of Los Angeles albums. Upon listening through the structure and riffs, you still hear that quintessential Rage Against the Machine sound.

Prophets of Rage will debut the new song on television for the July 25th airing of Jimmy Kimmel Live and it will also be featured on their upcoming debut EP.

Listen to both renditions of the song below.
