REBEL, the new venue formerly known as Sound Academy, presented the dynamic trio on their Toronto tour-stop. The group went on stage full-force in their trademark candy-coloured and unorthodox fashion as they performed new songs from their latest album along with their staple tracks that we know and love them for. Ninja was seen crowd surfing throughout the show and collecting bras and panties that were tossed on stage by eccentric fans. There was definitely a one of a kind connection between Die Antwoord and their crowd.
Opening up for the night was the DJ duo, Death Trap, who managed to start the show right. The fans were hyped and warmed up for Die Antwoord by the end of their set. They even made an appearance as dancers for Die Antwoord’s performance.
